Hurricane Beginnings
Just after Hurricane Andrew destroyed their home in Miami, Stan and Terrisa Coleman relocated to Palm Beach County and began a small group Bible Study with a few local families. With a great leading from God and the obvious need for a relevant and contemporary church in the area, Stan and Terrisa along with a few families launched South Palm Community Church on a beautiful Easter morning in April, 1993.
One hundred and sixty-six people attended that first service.
Reaching Thousands
With the mission of helping people from all walks of life and presenting the timeless truths of the Bible in easy to understand and practical ways, South Palm has grown to over 2,500 people who consider this their church home. Over 1,200 people have followed Christ in baptism while the church continues to reach more and more people with the good news of Jesus Christ.
The Future is Bright
South Palm is all about reaching people who are far away from God and bringing them to Jesus. Our ultimate goal is to encourage and equip every person to grow in God’s grace and reach full dependence upon Jesus Christ.
Come and grow with us as we continue to reach more and more families, neighbors and friends and lead them in developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The future is bright and we want you to be a part of it!
