Stan Coleman grew up in the state of Texas where, as a sophomore in High School, he felt God’s call to the ministry. He attended Howard Payne University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary before leading several large and progressive Student Ministries throughout the southwest.

Upon being called by God to move from the traditional “Bible Belt” to South Florida, the Coleman’s home was totally destroyed during Hurricane Andrew. After relocating to Palm Beach County in 1993, Stan and his wife Terrisa began South Palm Community Church with eight people.

What began as a simple vision and a small group has now increased to thousands of individuals who consider South Palm their church home. Stan has a unique passion for people, because people matter to God. This passion is unmistakable as he leads the church to make a difference in our city and beyond!

Stan resides in the West Palm Beach area with his wife Terrisa. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, skin diving and golf. He has three beautiful daughters and a brand new granddaughter.
